About The Position

We’re hiring a WordPress Developer who can build, customize, and optimize high-performing websites — not just assemble pages. This role combines development, performance optimization, and problem-solving. You’ll work across landing pages, blogs, and full websites, ensuring everything is fast, secure, SEO-optimized, and conversion-ready. If you’ve worked with Elementor + custom code + performance optimization, this role is a strong fit.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of WordPress development experience
  • Strong skills in PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Experience with Elementor / Divi / WPBakery
  • Experience with hosting platforms: cPanel, WP Engine, SiteGround, Kinsta
  • You are both developer + problem-solver
  • You care about performance, speed, and clean builds
  • You can debug issues independently
  • You communicate clearly with non-technical teams

Responsibilities

  • Build and customize WordPress websites using Elementor, Divi, and WPBakery.
  • Develop and maintain child themes for scalability.
  • Create custom templates for landing pages, blogs, and marketing pages.
  • Customize or extend plugins using PHP.
  • Ensure compatibility across themes, plugins, and updates.
  • Convert designs from Figma, Sketch, and Adobe XD into pixel-perfect, responsive layouts.
  • Ensure cross-browser compatibility, mobile optimization, and accessibility (WCAG standards).
  • Improve site speed using caching, minification, lazy loading, and CDN integration.
  • Run audits using Google Lighthouse and GTmetrix.
  • Optimize Core Web Vitals for SEO + UX.
  • Manage updates (WordPress core, plugins, themes).
  • Implement security using Wordfence and Sucuri.
  • Set up backups and recovery processes.
  • Work with marketing, design, and content teams.
  • Troubleshoot bugs and site issues.
  • Support non-technical team members with CMS usage.
  • Fix bugs, update content, and handle support tickets.
  • Build new landing pages or features.
  • Optimize performance and run speed audits.
  • Collaborate with marketing on campaigns.
  • Apply updates and ensure site security.
  • Push changes via staging or Git.
  • Ensure every WordPress site is fast, secure, scalable, and conversion-ready.
