About The Position

Music & Arts is seeking a woodwind instructor to teach private music lessons and inspire students of varying ages and skill levels. The teacher creates an engaging, supportive, and safe learning environment; builds positive relationships with students and parents through communication, goal-setting, and progress updates; and partners with store teams to schedule lessons and encourage student retention. Music & Arts handles administrative work so instructors can focus on teaching and supporting students’ musical growth.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Music Education, Music Performance, or equivalent experience.
• At least 2 years of music teaching experience, especially with woodwind instruments.

Nice To Haves

• Further experience teaching related instruments.
• Advanced degree (Master’s or Doctoral) in Music.
• Professional teaching memberships or certifications.
• 8 or more years of teaching experience, especially with multiple instruments, including banjo, baritone, bass clarinet, bass guitar, bassoon, cello, clarinet, flute, French horn, guitar, mandolin, oboe, percussion, piano, piccolo, saxophone, string bass, trombone, trumpet, tuba, ukulele, viola, violin, and voice.
