About The Position

As a Wood Truss Loader, your top priority will be to accurately and efficiently load wood trusses for customer deliveries. This role involves promoting a safety-first culture, operating heavy machinery, and maintaining a clean work environment. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, follow directions, and maintain dependable attendance.

Requirements

• Ability to properly utilize and maintain all personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Read, write and communicate with employees, drivers, and contractors effectively and professionally.
• Operate forklift and other larger type lifts.
• Maintain a dependable attendance record.
• Receive instruction and follow directions, including technical and multi-step instructions.
• Work independently as well as in a team.
• Work safely, remain calm and make decisions in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or GED
• Previous forklift and/or other type loading equipment experience

Responsibilities

• Promote and drive safety-first culture, ensuring the safety of employees, drivers, and customers.
• Operating a forklift and larger lift to load wood trusses on trucks and trailers.
• Promote and maintain cleanliness of the loading area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
