About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Warehouse Associate to join our event rental warehouse team. This position is responsible for building custom rental products, fabricating new designs, maintaining existing inventory, and ensuring all wood-based rental items meet company quality standards. The ideal candidate has hands-on carpentry or fabrication experience, strong attention to detail, and takes pride in producing high-quality work. This position primarily works in the woodshop and warehouse environment but may occasionally travel to event venues to assist with the delivery, installation, modification, repair, and break down of rental inventory.

Requirements

  • 2-5 years of professional carpentry, cabinetmaking, woodworking, or related fabrication experience
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
  • Ability to read measurements and work from sketches, drawings, or plan designs
  • Experience safely and effectively using common woodshop machinery, hand tools, and power tools.
  • Knowledge of wood stains, paints, sealers and protective finishes
  • Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of team
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Reliable attendance and ability to meet production and event deadlines
  • Strong communication skills and professionalism when speaking with vendors, clients, and other third parties.

Responsibilities

  • Fabricate custom event rental inventory to specifications from design concepts, drawings, & plans.
  • Ensure production meets company quality standards and industry safety standards.
  • Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Complete projects within established production schedules and deadlines.
  • Apply stains, paints, sealers and protective finishes as needed.
  • Inspect all event rental inventory for damage, wear, quality, and safety concerns before and after events.
  • Identify rental inventory that requires repairs and communicate maintenance needs and inventory count changes to management.
  • Perform repairs, restoration, hardware replacement, and refinishing of wood products to maintain inventory standards and extend the life of rental inventory.
  • Maintain the appearance, functionality, and structural integrity of all woodshop-produced inventory.
  • Organize, store, and prepare fabrication materials, tools, and inventory.
  • Assist with inventory counts and tracking within the department and with management.
  • Load/unload, move, and stage materials and rental inventory as needed.
  • Travel to event venues and warehouses to assist with delivery, installation, modifications, repairs, and break down of inventory as needed.
  • Support other warehouse and operational departments as assigned to meet business needs and order schedules.
  • Assist with special projects and company initiatives as directed by management.
  • Follow all company and industry safety policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Properly wear and utilize personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, gloves, respirators, and other equipment as required.
  • Operate machinery, hand tools, and power tools in a safe and responsible manner.
  • Maintain a clean and hazard-free work environment.
  • Immediately report unsafe conditions, accidents, injuries, equipment malfunctions, or potential hazards to management.
  • Regularly attend and participate in safety training and comply with all applicable workplace safety regulations.
  • Promote a culture of safety, accountability, and teamwork throughout the facility.
  • Ability and willingness to occasionally drive to warehouses and event venues.
