About The Position

Santo Domingo Pueblo is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Women's Transitional Living Manager to help create a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive environment for women working toward recovery, stability, and successful reintegration into the community. This position is an opportunity to make a meaningful difference by supporting women as they rebuild their lives, strengthen their independence, and reconnect with family, culture, and community. We are looking for someone who leads with compassion, understands the importance of culture in healing, and believes in the strength and potential of every woman we serve. Through direct clinical services and program management, this position engages and supports Santo Domingo adult female tribal members who are in recovery from substance use, mental health challenges, homelessness, or have a history of justice involvement in the process of healing, recovery, and re-integration with the community. The Women's Transitional Living Manager is responsible for program development, day-to-day operations, and service delivery including providing excellent direct clinical services and oversight of services provided by Certified Peer Support Workers (CPSWs) and associated documentation and 3rd party billing. The Manager ensures a safe, supportive, and culturally responsive living environment, promotes daily routines, supervises a team of CPSWs, and supports clients in achieving personal and program goals. The Manager works closely with Kewa Family Wellness Center (KFWC) leadership to maintain high-quality services and foster a sense of connection, healing, and belonging for all residents. This position will coordinate and facilitate activities while working closely with programs provided by the Kewa Family Wellness Center (KFWC), Tribal Courts, and other tribal programs.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in mental health related field
  • Licensed Mental Health Professional in the state of New Mexico (LPCC, LCSW, LMSW, or LMHC)
  • Current license attached to application or resume
  • Physically capable of performing the essential functions of the position
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively guide and support staff in achieving Santo Domingo Pueblo's goals and program objectives
  • Current CPR/First Aid certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Food Handler's Certification (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
  • Valid driver's license with ability to meet Santo Domingo Pueblo's liability insurance
  • Ability to satisfactorily pass a background check and pre-employment drug screen

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience with Native American clients and sensitivity to Native American traditions and cultural practices
  • Previous experience in residential treatment programs
  • Previous experience supervising CPSWs / CCSS
  • Keres language fluency
