About The Position

This role combines the responsibilities of a part-time East Paris Campus Women’s Ministry Director and a part-time Young Adults Groups Director, functioning as a full-time position to support these two ministries. The position involves owning the mission, vision, and values of Group Life, identifying and onboarding new leaders, and collaborating with other directors for seamless communication. The role includes forming, tracking, and overseeing small groups, regularly connecting with leaders for development and care, and developing training materials. A consistent presence at weekend services and events is expected, along with oversight of on-campus groups. The director will proactively connect with individuals interested in ministry and guide them towards discipleship, attend staff and ministry team meetings, and participate in campus engagement initiatives. Administrative duties include 1:1 care, managing referrals, and mentor pairings as assigned by the Campus Pastor or Director.

Requirements

  • Deep biblical knowledge
  • Strong public/platform speaking skills – compelling, clear communicator
  • Ability to accomplish objectives through others, lead and develop others
  • Ability to work under pressure, prioritize tasks, and meet all deadlines
  • Ability to negotiate tense or sensitive situations and resolve conflict
  • Ability to appropriately handle confidential information
  • Ability to work when the job requires, which includes weekends, some evenings, and occasional holidays
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience overseeing small groups and biblical teaching
  • Proven ability to build relationships and partner well with others
  • Proven ability to skillfully manage details and meet deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft applications
  • Committed Christian living a life of obedience to Christ
  • Must become a member of Ada Bible Church within 90 days of hire and have beliefs consistent with their statement of faith

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Education in Biblical studies, ministry, or related field preferred

Responsibilities

  • Own Group Life Mission, Vision and Values
  • Identify, recruit and onboard new leaders, mentors and volunteers
  • Collaborate with the Director of Young Adults and Women’s Ministry to ensure seamless communications
  • Form, track and oversee small groups in each ministry
  • Connect regularly with group leaders and coaches for the purpose of their development, training and care
  • Work with teams to develop trainings, tools and teachings that equip small group coaches leaders and participants
  • Provide consistent presence at weekend services, Connect events, Campus events
  • Sunday evening and Wednesday morning On-Campus Group oversight
  • Proactively connect with those showing interest in ministry and connect them to a discipleship environment
  • Attend Campus staff and ministry team meetings with other departments as needed
  • Involvement with campus engagement initiatives, occasional hosting, stage announcements
  • Administer 1:1 Care as assigned by Campus Pastor or Director along with remote, counselor referrals, mentor pairings
