About The Position

Ada Bible Church is hiring a part-time Women's Ministry Director for their East Paris team at the East Paris Campus. This role is ideal for someone passionate about guiding women of all ages and life stages in their relationship with God, fostering community, and spiritual growth. The Director will provide general ministry support, plan, coordinate, and execute Women’s Ministry Events, and offer care and development for volunteers. This is a part-time position requiring 20-25 hours per week.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of work experience in event planning, administrative support, ministry, or volunteer development.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Solid interpersonal and leadership skills.
  • Ability to provide clear direction to volunteers and be approachable.
  • Availability to work outside of typical 9-5 hours, including weekends, some evenings, or occasional holidays.
  • Committed Christian living a life of obedience to Christ.
  • Willingness to become a member of Ada Bible Church within 90 days of hire.
  • Beliefs consistent with Ada Bible Church's statement of faith and staff values.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Women’s Ministry Groups Director with small group leader events and small groups preparation, potentially leading one of these events occasionally.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute women's ministry events and activities designed to connect with women in meaningful and impactful ways.
  • Identify, recruit, train, and develop volunteers for the women's ministry.
  • Encourage and support women's ministry volunteers through relationship building and regular contact via phone, email, or in-person meetings.
  • Promote, support, and attend women's ministry events, and provide central support as needed.
  • Collaborate with the women's ministry team to ensure events align with the mission and objectives of women's ministry.
  • Share responsibility with the women's ministry team in providing care or mentoring for women facing spiritual, emotional, or physical crisis.
