Requirements
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Active State of CT Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) certification
- BLS certification required or completion within the first three months of employment.
Nice To Haves
- Bilingual Spanish -English language skills preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist the Coordinator in providing direct care to patients.
- Assist with patient care.
- Assist coordinator with procedures.
- Set up and breakdown exam rooms, including cleaning of equipment.
- Documenting vital signs and report findings to the coordinator.
- Perform clerical duties such as answering the phone and assisting patients to get information from the staff considering the patient experience.
- Maintain supplies on the unit assisting with inventory and doing out dates.
- Help collect and properly label specimens and transport to lab.
- Other tasks as assigned will be expected.
