Appalachian Mountain Health (AMH) is seeking a motivated and independent women’s health practitioner to be the sole women’s health clinician in Graham County, NC. This role requires confidence in independently providing a spectrum of women’s health services, as the nearest OBGYN practice and/or hospital with a labor and delivery unit is an hour away. An optional 3-month paid internship with the current provider is available, offering on-the-job training, patient panel introduction, and skill refinement in areas like ultrasonography, pessary management, and LARC management. Experienced practitioners and new graduates are welcome, provided they have demonstrable skills in women’s healthcare and a commitment to residing in the region for at least two years. The daily patient load is capped at 15. The location in Robbinsville, NC, offers abundant outdoor recreational opportunities including boating, hiking, trail running, mountain biking, and proximity to the Appalachian Trail and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
