About The Position

Community Hospital is a full-service, acute-care hospital, licensed for 60 beds. We are an independently owned hospital that serves the Grand Valley of Colorado. The Community Hospital Women's Health Service Line has been experiencing strong and consistent year-over-year growth and success over the last decade. This position as a Gynecologic Advanced Practice Provider would provide both clinical and surgical support to the Canyon View Women's Health practice at Community Hospital. The group currently consists of 4 full-time OBGYN's, and 4 Full-Time Certified Nurse Midwife's. The PA/NP would primarily support the OBGYNs, both in surgery as a first assist for scheduled GYN surgical cases and Cesarean deliveries, as well as in clinic seeing GYN and postoperative patients.

Requirements

• Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner certification
• Ability to provide clinical and surgical support
• Ability to see GYN and postoperative patients in clinic
• Ability to act as a first assist in surgery
