About The Position

We're seeking a Women's Health Physical Therapist – Clinical Specialist who is passionate about advancing women's health and delivering exceptional, evidence-based care to patients across the lifespan. In this role, you will provide specialized evaluation and treatment for pelvic floor dysfunction, prenatal and postpartum conditions, pelvic pain, bowel and bladder disorders, and other women's health diagnoses while serving as a clinical resource and leader within the program.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy required (advanced degree preferred).
  • Licensed Physical Therapist in the State of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant clinical experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in pelvic health and women's health rehabilitation.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, develop, and implement individualized treatment plans for patients with pelvic floor and women's health conditions.
  • Provide specialized care for diagnoses including pelvic pain, urinary and fecal incontinence, constipation, pelvic organ prolapse, pregnancy-related musculoskeletal conditions, postpartum recovery, and other pelvic health disorders.
  • Collaborate with patients and families to establish measurable goals and monitor treatment outcomes.
  • Serve as a clinical expert and resource for pelvic health rehabilitation, supporting best practices and evidence-based care.
  • Partner closely with physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary care team to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
  • Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as appropriate.
  • Recommend adaptive equipment, therapeutic interventions, and discharge plans when indicated.
  • Provide education and coaching to patients, families, and caregivers regarding pelvic health, wellness, injury prevention, and self-management strategies.
  • Document evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and billing information in accordance with departmental standards.
  • Support the growth and development of the Women's Health and Pelvic Floor Program through quality improvement initiatives, program development, community outreach, and patient education efforts.
  • Mentor therapists, students, and clinical staff while contributing to competency development and continuing education initiatives.
  • Pursue advanced professional development through clinical specialization, research, leadership, or education.
