About The Position

Kingswood OB/GYN, part of the UWH of Michigan network, is seeking a WHNP to join its practice in Bloomfield Township, MI. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a highly respected group that has been serving the community for more than 30 years. The practice is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care for women at every stage of life. Kingswood OB/GYN emphasizes a personalized, relationship-driven approach—caring for patients from adolescence through their reproductive years and into menopause and beyond. The position will be full time, Monday-Friday, clinic only, seeing OB and GYN patients. New grads are welcome to apply that have prior OB experience.

Requirements

National Nurse Practitioner certification or ability to obtain
Unrestricted, active licensure in the State or ability to obtain
Current Unrestricted DEA License or ability to obtain
CPR, BLS, and NALS Certification or ability to obtain
Proficient in assessment and development of treatment plans
Ability to communicate with patients, team members and management staff
Ability to make care decisions based on the best medical practices without direct supervision or guidance by a physician

Nice To Haves

One year of full-time experience as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred but will consider new grads with prior OB experience

Responsibilities

Perform patient exams, screenings, treatments, and record patient health history
Prescribe medications, therapies; order/perform and interpret diagnostic testing and procedures
Provide pre and post-natal care, family planning services, and patient education and counseling
