We are seeking a dedicated and highly-skilled Women's Health Nurse Practitioner or Women's Health Physician Assistant (PA-C) to join our established OB/GYN practice and healthcare team in Cranford, NJ. This position is every Thursday and Friday at a fast-paced, high-volume practice. This role offers an exciting opportunity to provide comprehensive women’s health services, including preventive care, reproductive health, and management of complex gynecological conditions. The ideal candidate will possess a strong clinical background, excellent patient assessment skills, and a passion for empowering women through quality healthcare delivery. This position emphasizes collaborative practice, innovative treatment approaches, and adherence to the highest standards of patient safety and confidentiality.

Requirements

Successful completion of a MSN program or MSPAS program
Minimum 1 year experience in a Women's Health outpatient setting, required
Experience with well-woman visits, IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals, endometrial biopsies
Experience in a high-volume OB/GYN setting.
Current NJ APN or Physician Assistant License, CDS and DEA
Proficiency in EMR/EHR systems for documentation and order management.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation specific to women’s health.
Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-10 coding standards.
Skills in managing acute pain cases and providing appropriate pain management strategies.
Knowledge of infection control protocols and sterile processing techniques ensures patient safety during procedures.
Ability to provide services in a fast paced practice, high patient-volume practice (30+ patients/day).

Responsibilities

Conduct thorough physical examinations and patient assessments focused on women’s health needs, including routine screenings, family planning, and gynecological evaluations.
Manage acute and chronic conditions related to reproductive health, utilizing evidence-based practices and current clinical guidelines.
Perform procedures such as IUD and Nexplanon insertions/removals, endometrial biopsies and other minor gynecological interventions.
Educate patients on health promotion, disease prevention, contraception options, and lifestyle modifications tailored to individual needs.
Collaborate with OB/GYN physician and other healthcare providers when complex cases arise requiring multidisciplinary input.
Utilize electronic health record (EHR) systems for accurate documentation, order entry, and follow-up care coordination.
