About The Position

Buck Mason is seeking a Women's Cut & Sew Knits Designer with a strong background in design, fit, and wash. The ideal candidate is a creative individual passionate about design, fit, and product quality. This is a contractor role.

Requirements

5+ years applicable women’s knit's experience
High taste level
Strong knowledge of the Women’s wear market and Designers
In-depth knowledge of vintage, military, and workwear styling
Excellent working knowledge of Adobe Suite and Excel
Must be a team player, have ability to manage multiple projects with strict deadlines and take initiative
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize workload
Highly motivated and hardworking
Clear communicator w/ emotional intelligence
Must be detail oriented individual and a strong self-starter
Strong knowledge of garment construction and wash processing

Responsibilities

Seasonal concept and design for Women's Knits collection
Create all sketches, details, and technical packages for seasonal designs
Conduct product, color, fit, and fabric research for seasonal concepts pertaining to woven's
Create flat digital sketches for presentation boards and tech packs
Conduct fittings with tech design and updates styles and tech packs
Approve fabric samples, lab dips, strike-off's and other development material
Reports to Design Director
