About The Position

Scheels is seeking a Women's Athletic Clothing Specialty Shop Manager who will embody the company's employee ownership values. The manager will be responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and ensuring a high level of customer service within the women's athletic clothing department.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED), or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 1-3 months of related experience or training.
  • Ability to sit, stand, bend at the waist, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, walk, push/pull, lift, talk, and hear with or without reasonable accommodation.
  • Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
  • Follow all safety procedures and perform job duties in a fashion that minimizes the risk of injury.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver exceptional customer service by seeking out and engaging with customers, determining their needs, recommending appropriate products, and promoting the Scheels Visa Credit Card.
  • Maintain expert-level knowledge in all selling areas and lead product knowledge training for other associates.
  • Consistently meet or exceed personal sales goals while delivering a high-quality customer experience.
  • Manage inventory by running and analyzing Internal Flash Reports.
  • Effectively maintain an organized backstock, ensuring merchandise is properly displayed and replenished on the sales floor.
  • Ensure product is accurately displayed through price tagging, sales stickers, and signage.
  • Maintain a professional appearance, positive attitude, and team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Communicate professionally with other associates, the Scheels Campus, and Vendors/Sales Representatives.
  • Ensure work area is clean, organized, and meets safety standards.
  • Perform basic math, including operations using units of currency, measurements, and understanding percentages.
  • Work assigned schedule, which may include varied hours, evenings, weekends, and holidays, including product knowledge meetings.
