About The Position

The Neonatal Pediatric Respiratory Therapist - RT4 provides advanced respiratory care with a specialized focus on neonatal and pediatric transport, both in‑house and external. Requires expert-level competencies in high‑acuity care, transport stabilization, invasive procedures, and independent decision‑making in uncontrolled environments. Participate in neonatal and pediatric transports inside and outside the facility, providing stabilization, airway management, and full respiratory support. Perform advanced procedures including intubation, UAC/UVC placement support, IO access, needle decompression, and chest tube assistance. Perform blood gas sampling and interpretation from all approved access points and neonatal sources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Respiratory or Cardiopulmonary
  • License RRT in the state of Florida
  • Minimum of 4 years of critical care experience, including NICU/PICU experience.
  • Must have Certifications- RRT-NPS, Certified Neonatal Pediatric Transport (C-NPT), BLS, ACLS, PALS and NRP
