About The Position

The SA will contribute to the strategic objectives of the IT Division by working with management and business clients to analyze, design, implement and/or support business applications systems. They will provide analysis of business requirements, evaluating solutions, and making recommendations that will support the company’s long-range plans. Strengths revolve around communication, organization, and cross-functional knowledge. This position will be involved in most phases of systems development projects and may be the primary point of contact between Information Services and the relevant business unit. The Systems Analyst will be a key member of the IT project team. This position is located in Medford, Oregon.

Requirements

  • Bachelors’ degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of three years’ experience in a Systems Analyst position.
  • Strong analytical skills are essential; PC skills (experience with Office365 applications for word processing and other documentation requirements).
  • Experience with Visio, Teams and Jira are also required.
  • Excellent communications skills (written and oral) for effective interaction with all levels of technical/user staff and management.
  • Proven ability in all phases of technical documentation.
  • Ability to identify data patterns which might indicate a system problem or help in diagnosing one.
  • Successful work performance demonstrating an ability to communicate effectively, work well with others, use productive work methods, exercise sound judgment and display initiative and innovation on the job.

Responsibilities

  • Document and analyze business requirements.
  • Translate the business requirements into system requirements, including appropriate documentation.
  • Work with the development team to design more complex application systems as assigned.
  • Provide analysis assistance and problem resolution to clients for assigned applications.
  • Ability to independently handle complex analysis and business issues without assistance.
  • Plan, develop and conduct systems integration tests. Support all load test requirements for assigned projects. Provide reporting to management as required.
  • Plan, monitor and coordinate small to medium projects and direct others to project completion. This includes leading project meetings, task management, estimating, project timelines, resource allocation, prioritizing work, and managing the project as assigned under periodic review.
  • Conform to Change Management Policies and Procedures. Provide reporting to management as required.
