The Analyst will gather and synthesize all source terrorist-related information to support development of daily counterterrorism (CT) products that promote situational awareness across the Intelligence Community (IC) and broader US Government. The Analyst may be required to perform the following responsibilities: Identify, prioritize, and develop strategies to address mission needs, intelligence gaps, resource, and analytic challenges with a focus on chemical terrorism and chemical warfare Engage with WMD-CT partners in the IC, DoD, and other agencies identifying new and nontraditional relationships, while strengthening existing relationships with U.S. and foreign partners Identify methods to improve and sustain IC support to operational elements (counterWMD/CBRN and chemical defense) during steady state operations as well as during a crisis Conduct assessments and evaluations of Government WMD-CT intelligence and produce intelligence assessments, technical studies, collection requirements, and other information related to WMD. Support the development, coordination, editing, and publishing of a range of products that may include finished intelligence products, talking points, presentations, and booklets. Assist with Interagency Focus Groups Prepare products and talking points on specific collection targets and issues as required Collaborate with IC partners to develop and recommend specific collection strategies; identifying actions and opportunities to enhance IC collection to address the most critical gaps against the hardest WMD- CT targets
