About The Position

As a Wiring Technician, you will be hands-on at the heart of our operation — bringing complex energy systems to life from raw components to finished assemblies. This is not a role for someone who wants to watch from the sidelines. You will own the quality and craftsmanship of every unit you touch, directly impacting the speed at which we bring critical energy infrastructure online. This role will be based in our Long Beach facility as part of the production team.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience wiring or installing electrical control and relay panels.
  • Ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics and blueprints effortlessly.
  • Possess the dexterity and focus required to build flawless hardware systems.
  • Self-motivated, work exceptionally well without supervision, and are willing to put in occasional overtime to hit critical shipping deadlines.
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with energy or power systems equipment (switchgear, battery systems, etc.)
  • Technical trade certification or vocational training in a related field
  • Familiarity with electrical assembly including wiring, terminations, or harness building
  • Prior experience in a high-growth startup or fast-paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

  • Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly schematics, and documentation to ensure accurate and compliant builds
  • Run, route, and connect point-to-point wiring and cables strictly using schematics, blueprints, and engineering specs.
  • Drill, tap, bolt, and rivet electrical systems, subassemblies, and conduits into place with extreme precision.
  • Perform visual inspections and basic functional checks prior to handoff to test and QC
  • Inspect and test your own wiring installations for resistance and operational defects. If something is broken, fix it.
  • Identify and communicate assembly defects, discrepancies, or design issues to engineering in real time
  • Collaborate directly with our engineering team to solve production roadblocks and improve manufacturing blueprints on the fly.
  • Track inventory by tagging components accurately, and keep your workspace pristine and safe
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives on the assembly floor
