About The Position

Volt is immediately hiring Wiring Technicians in Hopkins, SC. Recognition Programs & Weekly Pay! As a Wiring Technician you will: Assemble and wire a variety of complex assembly and subassembly operations for switchboard and switchgear products. Component wiring schemes include PLC’s, Circuit Monitors, and other advanced electronic devices. Have the ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks. Ability to work in tight spaces, inside units to wire Operate safely, adhering to all OSHA and site specific standards.

Requirements

Sound knowledge and experience in assembly and wiring techniques.
Ability to perform mechanical assembly tasks.
Ability to work in tight spaces, inside units to wire.
Ability to read and interpret assembly drawings, wiring diagrams, schematics, blue prints, material lists, and other source material.
Experience in wiring in a manufacturing or contract environment.
Candidate must be highly motivated and self-directed with ability to work in a team environment.
Must possess a good work record.
Steel Toes Required

Nice To Haves

Position requires lifting and holding in place assembly parts weighting up to 35 lbs. repeatedly over work period.
Position requires periodic overtime on a short notice to meet customer service.
