Requirements

  • 1+ years of experience in electrical assembly, panel wiring, industrial manufacturing, or related field
  • Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
  • Experience with electrical assembly tools including wire strippers, crimpers, cutters, and hand tools
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team

Nice To Haves

  • Experience as an industrial control panel wireperson
  • Familiarity with UL 508A panel construction practices
  • Vocational, technical school, or electrical trade training
  • Experience in custom engineered-to-order manufacturing environments
  • Basic troubleshooting experience with electrical control systems

Responsibilities

  • Install, route, terminate, and label wiring and electrical components within custom industrial control panels
  • Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and assembly drawings
  • Verify components and wiring against engineering documentation and bills of material
  • Maintain neat, organized, and professional wire routing and cable management practices
  • Perform thorough self-inspections throughout assembly to ensure accuracy and workmanship
  • Identify and communicate drawing discrepancies, material shortages, or quality concerns
  • Support panel testing, troubleshooting, and final assembly activities
  • Collaborate with engineers, assemblers, and production personnel to meet project schedules
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and efficiency
