About The Position

As the Wireroom Manager you will be responsible for specified duties related to the Wire Room Department. The person in this position is exposed to all elements that exist in a warehouse environment. This role involves managing the CDC Wire team, including hiring, training, and developing staff, while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining effective communication across teams.

Requirements

Ability to organize, multitask and pay attention to detail.
Knowledge of warehouse operations and warehouse equipment.
Product knowledge is desirable.
Good understanding of computer system preferred.
Excellent communication skills and leadership abilities.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel and Word.
Must be reliable and flexible.

Responsibilities

Lead, train, and manage a team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to optimize performance.
Maintain and monitor warehouse inventory levels, ensuring efficient use of space and resources.
Implement and maintain safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
Coordinate logistics and deliveries to meet customer needs with just-in-time precision and ensure accurate orders.
Collaborate with internal departments such as procurement, sales, and customer service to align inventory management with customer demands.
Continuously seek opportunities to improve operational efficiencies and streamline processes.
Track and analyze key performance metrics and report out on progress.
Assign daily tasks and set performance goals to meet productivity and accuracy standards.
Determine team priorities, work assignments, and methods required to meet schedule.
Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.
Work with other departments to improve equipment functionality, throughput, and uptime of equipment.
Performing all tasks while following Standard Operating Procedures (SOP’s), manufactures literature, and safety policies.
Amend existing SOP’s aligning with best practices.
Schedule and assign work to employees, providing necessary materials, equipment and documents.
Review all orders that go through the Wire Room to ensure accuracy.
Make certain orders are picked and packed according to quality guidelines and established deadlines.
Maintain good housekeeping standards and make certain employees follow all safety policy and procedures.
