About The Position

ACE Controls is seeking an experienced Wireman – Industrial Automation Control Panels for their Humble, TX team. This role is based in a clean, climate-controlled shop with no travel required. ACE Controls has over 20 years of experience designing and building custom industrial automation and control systems for various industries including water, wastewater, food & beverage, manufacturing, and industrial process. This is a full-time, direct-hire position.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• 3+ years of industrial control panel wiring experience
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
• Experience wiring industrial control components and power distribution systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Experience using electrical testing equipment and hand tools
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States

Nice To Haves

• Technical training or electrical certifications a plus
• 5+ years of experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform point-to-point wiring of industrial control panels
• Route, label, terminate, and organize wiring according to electrical schematics
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and panel layouts
• Install and wire relays, terminal blocks, breakers, fuses, power supplies, and other industrial control components
• Conduct testing and verification of completed panels
• Troubleshoot wiring and electrical control system issues
• Work closely with engineers and project managers to meet project schedules
• Maintain quality standards, safety practices, and organized work areas
• Support continuous improvement efforts that increase efficiency and quality
