About The Position

As a Wireless Technician II, you will transition from standard installations to independently managing complex RF deployments. This role is for a high-level technician who can troubleshoot performance issues on the fly, interpret intricate engineering drawings, and serve as a technical mentor for junior team members.

Requirements

  • 3–8 years of RF/telecom field experience (preferred).
  • Strong knowledge of RF systems, site infrastructure, and testing equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, PIM testers, etc.).
  • Demonstrate professional conduct, clear communication, and a productive attitude toward team members and customers.
  • A valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the physical ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Nice To Haves

  • NICET IB-PSC Technician I or II certification is highly preferred but not necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Install and integrate RF equipment (radios, antennas, fiber) and assist in system commissioning.
  • Independently diagnose and resolve RF performance issues using specialized tools.
  • Perform independent RF studies—including PCTel file setup and survey reporting—and conduct signal verification.
  • Guide portions of installation projects and provide technical mentorship to junior technicians and installers.
  • Interpret site drawings and engineering documentation to ensure every build meets exact code and safety specifications.
  • Ensure all materials and tools are verified and staged before heading to the job site.
