About The Position

The Wireless Technician I role involves the hands-on installation and maintenance of RF telecommunications equipment. This position is ideal for an individual who has mastered the fundamentals and is eager to gain specialized skills in RF systems, site infrastructure, and advanced troubleshooting. The role requires a self-starter who treats their work as a craft and possesses high personal accountability.

Requirements

  • 1–2 years of telecom or technical installation experience (preferred).
  • Understanding of RF components and site hardware.
  • Ability to read installation drawings.
  • Basic troubleshooting skills.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Clean driving record.
  • Physical ability to lift 50+ lbs.
  • Flexibility to travel to sites across New York, northern New Jersey, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.
  • Experience working on active construction sites.

  • NICET IB-PSC Technician I certification.

Responsibilities

  • Install antennas, radios, mounts, and RF cables with a focus on accuracy and craftsmanship.
  • Perform cable routing, grounding, and weatherproofing to meet strict code requirements.
  • Conduct basic equipment setup, configuration, and assist in testing/troubleshooting and RF studies.
  • Maintain flawless site documentation and photo records to ensure project closeouts are seamless.
  • Execute all fieldwork according to company safety protocols, ensuring a zero-incident environment for yourself and your team.
