Wireless System Validation Engineer

AppleCupertino, CA
$180,161 - $225,300Hybrid

About The Position

Define RF HW platform test requirements, design and implement in-house test systems, debug and resolve issues, and manage the process to ensure Apple products conform to all applicable wireless standards. Work with vendors, technology suppliers and cross-functional staff to optimize RF parametric performance. Support the manufacturing, manufacturing test and Certification of Apple Products. Performing RF hardware validation using RF lab equipment: Spectrum analyzer, Network Analyzer, Power Meters. Characterize Radio Frequency (RF) Receiver (Rx) and Transmitter (Tx) chains. Build and execute detailed test plans to ensure the product in compliance to worldwide regulatory requirements and carrier requirements. Resolve 3GPP, regulatory compliance issues by making recommendations to cross functional teams (including but not limited to RF/Antenna systems). Analyze RF component behavior in cellular technologies. Define test requirements, including designing, implementing in-house test systems and executing validation test cases.
