NXPs’ Wireless Connectivity team currently have job opening(s) in the following area(s): 2026 Intern, wireless system team As an intern for the wireless system engineering team, the candidate will participate in the research and development of advanced wireless technology.

Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a PhD or Masters in Electrical Engineering or a related field, with a graduation of December 2026 or later
  • Must understand the fundamentals of signal processing and digital communications
  • Must understand the fundamentals of machine learning and/or hardware accelerator
  • Must be fluent in C/C++, MATLAB

Nice To Haves

  • Desirable to have wireless sensing experience
  • Desirable to have scripting and automation skills
  • Desirable to be familiar with IEEE WLAN 802.11 standards

Responsibilities

  • Design and development of advanced wireless LAN technologies
  • Develop simulations using Matlab or C++ to verify the new features
  • Work closely with the rest of system team or hardware design teams to analyze the data and brainstorm the enhancement for next generation products.
