About The Position
Russell Cellular is hiring a Wireless Specialist at a Verizon Authorized Retailer. The position pays a base rate of $15.00 per hour plus uncapped commission potential; average earnings with commission are stated as $19.00 per hour, with the opportunity to earn more. The role focuses on learning customers’ needs and providing individualized service to help them choose wireless products and services. Requirements
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and communication skills; ability to build relationships and adapt to a diverse customer base is desired.
- Motivation and an inner drive to learn, grow, and excel.
- A knack for technology and the ability to learn wireless quickly.
- Open availability during store hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate retail sales of cellular phones, tablets, watches, other devices, and wireless services to the general public while providing outstanding customer service.
- Create additional sales opportunities through creative marketing campaigns in cooperation with the Marketing Department and through community involvement events.
- Contact current customers by phone to pursue additional sales opportunities.
- Develop continuous, up-to-date knowledge of Russell Cellular and wireless products and services, and demonstrate equipment capabilities.
- Handle daily store operations, including opening and closing, inventory control, cash management, and office and administrative duties.
- Develop and monitor action plans to achieve daily and monthly sales goals.
- Provide individualized customer service by discovering customers’ needs and helping equip them with suitable wireless products and services.
