Wireless Software Engineer
About The Position
This position is not eligible for Qualcomm immigration sponsorship. The role involves performing system-level testing for wireless connectivity products, specifically WLAN and Bluetooth. Responsibilities include testing protocol functionality, end-to-end system behavior, performance, and physical layer and RF features. The engineer will develop and execute test cases, analyze results, debug issues, and provide recommendations. There is also an opportunity to enhance and automate test procedures and analysis tools. The role requires close collaboration with system, software, hardware, and RF engineers to support commercialization and product launches.
Requirements
- Background in digital communications.
- Networking knowledge, Wireless Communications, TCP/IP.
- Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
Nice To Haves
- WLAN technologies (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/be).
- OFDMA and MIMO concepts.
- Test automation experience.
- WLAN packet/sniffer analysis.
- Programming in Python
- 1 to 2 years of hands-on system testing and debugging experience.
- Experience with WLAN and Bluetooth testing.
- Experience developing automated test solutions and/or Python programming skills.
- MSEE (Master's in Electrical Engineering) preferred.
- MSCE (Master's in Computer Engineering) with testing experience is also suitable
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
- Adaptability and willingness to take on diverse assignments.
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail.
