About The Position
2020 Companies is hiring a part-time Wireless Sales Associate to work in the wireless services section of a Walmart in Pensacola, Florida. The role involves selling wireless services and accessories, including post-paid and prepaid carrier plans, and helping customers identify solutions that meet their needs. The position includes paid training, a base pay with uncapped commission, and opportunities for career growth and advancement. Associates welcome customers, provide product and service information, assist with selections, meet sales goals, and maintain accurate sales and activity records. They also keep the workstation or kiosk clean and organized, complete paperwork accurately, and collaborate with customers and fellow employees. The role requires regular and prompt attendance and availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. There is no door-to-door selling, cold calling, or telemarketing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Six months of prior sales, retail, telecommunications, or marketing experience.
- Demonstrated knowledge of products and services.
- Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, team environment.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Ability to maintain customer confidentiality.
Responsibilities
- Sell products and services in retail stores, kiosks, or event environments.
- Engage customers about post-paid and prepaid carrier plans, wireless accessories, and service plans.
- Welcome customers courteously, assess their needs, and suggest suitable products and services.
- Provide product and service information and help customers make selections with confidence.
- Meet or exceed personal monthly sales goals and established weekly or monthly quotas.
- Build professional relationships with customers and fellow employees and collaborate with the team to achieve goals.
- Accurately document and report sales, track activity, and communicate it to Retail Operations.
- Submit paperwork completely and accurately.
- Keep the work station or kiosk clean, organized, functional, and presentable.
- Maintain regular and prompt attendance and contribute to customer and client satisfaction.
