About The Position

Arch Telecom is a national Wireless Preferred Retailer with over 200 retail stores across the U.S., providing superior service and quality wireless products since 1993. We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Mobile Associates (MA). MAs are brand ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thriving in a fast-paced, fun environment with a primary focus on customer needs. This role is a learning position, preparing you for a promotion to Mobile Expert upon training completion. You will immerse yourself in meaningful connections with customers, build expertise in uncovering their needs, and have a passion for educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions.

Requirements

  • At least 18 years of age
  • High school degree or GED
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Ability to lift objects weighing up to 25lbs
  • Reliable transportation
  • Full Time (40 hours) or Part Time (20+ hours) availability
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience
  • Retail environment experience preferred
  • A strong desire to learn and master the skills required of customer advocates
  • A desire to build meaningful connections with customers
  • Competitive drive and confidence to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment
  • Willingness to work alongside peers and store leaders, learning and sharing best practices
  • Effective at balancing customer experience and performance goals

Responsibilities

  • Learn and build proficiency in customer service while providing a best-in-class customer experience and building loyalty.
  • Assist customers by exploring their individual needs and providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology.
  • Engage in side-by-side selling to find personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Guide customers through their purchasing experience with thoughtful questions, informative answers, and expertise.
  • Approach service and sales needs with patience, honesty, and empathy.
  • Become proficient in using digital tools to demonstrate network coverage and plan benefits.
  • Redefine how wireless is done through device and account inspection, review, and troubleshooting.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, processes, systems, and reference resources.
  • Build relationships with and partner with employees across channels to collectively own the customer experience and resolve issues.
  • Successfully identify and handoff small business leads.
  • Develop strong peer relationships and be accountable for the company's success.
  • Have a good time while providing first-class customer experience.
