About The Position

Your Wireless, a Verizon Wireless Premium Retailer, is seeking a Wireless Area Sales Manager to oversee the sales and operational performance of assigned locations in their district. This role requires compliance with governmental and company policies to achieve company goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing in a multi-retail environment, a passion for leading and coaching, and a strong understanding of driving sales and operational performance through various strategies. Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar management role in a retail environment, preferably with Verizon Wireless or other wireless business where you managed a team for performance.
  • 3+ years of experience recruiting, training, and developing people.
  • 3+ years of experience in a retail sales environment.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach and inspire employees and people.
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Spanish Bilingual is a plus.
  • Ability to understand, explain, and breakdown behaviors to drive key performance metrics.
  • Highly proficient with technology including cellular devices, computers, point of sale systems, Microsoft office suite.
  • Proof of achievement in prior sales roles and leadership roles is required.
  • Enthusiasm for retail, wireless technology and products, and customer service.
  • Ability to travel to various locations in the assigned district as business needs dictate.
  • Self-motivated and goal-oriented.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays with a flexible schedule.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older and able to provide proof of work eligibility in the US.
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check.

Responsibilities

  • Exceeding district sales and revenue targets as assigned by senior leadership.
  • Generating and executing a market strategy to increase foot traffic and community outreach.
  • Creating standard operating procedures for maximum effectiveness.
  • Training and developing the team to increase sales skills, product knowledge, and motivation to exceed performance goals.
  • Conducting regular weekly performance management coaching sessions.
  • Ensuring market compliance with Verizon and company policies and procedures.
  • Communicating efficiently and effectively with retail team members for coaching.
  • Inspecting store audit compliance and protecting customer private information.
  • Overseeing inventory counts and cash reconciliation, prioritizing loss prevention.
  • Hosting team meetings to discuss results, events, expectations, policy updates, and to motivate the team.
  • Performing daily store visits for interaction inspection and on-the-spot coaching.
  • Managing schedules and store payroll budgets to maximize profitability.
  • Coaching Store Managers on results and assisting with action plans for improvement.
  • Supporting team initiatives and creating an inclusive environment.
  • Performing other duties/projects as assigned by business management.
