About The Position

First Hawaiian Bank is currently seeking a Wire Transfer Specialist to join our team in the EOS-Wire Transfer Department.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience
• 2 years of experience in banking operations, specifically with wire transfers
• 2 years of experience in customer service
• Effective written, interpersonal, and verbal communication skills
• Exercises sound discretion
• Able to set priorities and meet established deadlines
• Possess a high level of attention to detail
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 suite of applications
• Able to work under pressure with tight cutoff timeframes
• Experience working with large dollar wire transaction amounts up to tens of millions
• Able to handle confidential matters judiciously

Responsibilities

• Timely and accurate processing of domestic and foreign wire transfers including data entry, verification, and release of wires.
• Provides customers (both internal and external) with accurate, courteous, and timely service.
