Position Summary We are looking for a skilled and reliable Wire Harness Assembler to support our production of high-quality wire harnesses for industrial equipment. This role involves precise assembly work, following specifications and quality standards to ensure durability and performance. The ideal candidate will have experience with electrical components and the ability to work from detailed drawings and instructions.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Use of a PC to access documentation and record production activity.
  • Comfortable performing repetitive tasks with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to read and understand technical documentation and schematic drawings.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet for extended periods.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous experience in wire harness assembly or electrical assembly, preferably in an automotive, diesel engine, or heavy equipment environment.
  • Skilled in using hand tools, crimpers, wire strippers, and measuring equipment.

Responsibilities

  • Assemble wire harnesses and cable assemblies.
  • Read and interpret wiring diagrams, blueprints, schematics, and work orders.
  • Measure, cut, strip, splice, and crimp wires using manual and automated tools to industry standards.
  • Install terminals, connectors, seals, and heat shrink tubing per specification.
  • Bundle and secure wire harnesses using cable ties, tape, and clamps to meet rugged vibration, heat, and chemical exposure requirements.
  • Perform quality tests to verify quality and functionality.
  • Identify and resolve assembly issues, escalating complex problems to supervisors or engineering as needed.
  • Follow all safety guidelines and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
  • Document work completed and ensure traceability through quality documentation and labeling.
