About The Position

Design Ready Controls is a leader in control panel building and searching for our next key player to join our production team. As a Wire Harness Assembler, you will be an integral part of our success and growth. This role is responsible for building wire harness products, and more. 1st & 2nd shift openings available.

Requirements

High school education or equivalent
Proficiency using precision measurement tools (tape measure, ruler, etc.)
High motivation level and ability to multi-task
Ability to work with independently with limited supervision
Ability to work well with others
Strong attention to detail, organization and time management skills
Safety awareness and practice
Good math and communication skills
Demonstrated computer skills
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English without the aid of an interpreter
Ability to work overtime depending on workload

Nice To Haves

Experience working in an ISO environment preferred

Responsibilities

Build Wire Harness from documentation
Crimp terminals on wire
Read, understand and utilize various engineering and manufacturing documents including bills of materials, wire lists, etc.
Make harnesses on harness boards utilizing schematics, 2D documents, and engineering part numbers
Identify issues with reports and work with engineering to correct issues
Document QC and problem resolution logs
Maintain a safe, organized and efficient work area
Assist in 5S and Lean activities as required
Identify and assist in process improvement measures
Assist in training measures as needed
Assist in other areas of manufacturing as needed
Ensure the promotion of customer focus throughout the organization
