About The Position
An industry leader in the automotive industry for metal stampings and assembly has a career opportunity for a Wire EDM Operator. We are a full-service tooling provider of both progressive and tandem dies, specializing in deep draw, aluminum, ultra high strength steel (UHSS) and complex stamping dies. This is for a vacant position.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Tool & Die industry
- Ability to read and interpret drawings/schematics
- Effective interpersonal skills and team mentality
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Good organizational skills
Responsibilities
- Set up, Program and operate wire EDM machines (Makino)
- Wire burn tool steel / Die components
- Routine maintenance / troubleshooting EDM equipment and software
- Work with CNC coordinator
