About The Position

Moeller Precision Tool is seeking an experienced Wire EDM Operator to join our night shift team. Earn $24-$29/hr plus a Night Shift Premium and weekly overtime while working in a clean, climate-controlled precision machining environment. You'll work with advanced Wire EDM equipment producing high-precision tooling components for global industries. Since 1953, Moeller Precision Tool has been a global leader in precision tooling for the automotive, appliance, pharmaceutical, and consumer products industries.

Requirements

• 2+ years of Wire EDM or related machining experience
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, gauges, etc.)
• Experience holding tight tolerances on precision components
• Strong mechanical aptitude and basic math skills
• High school diploma or GED

Nice To Haves

• Experience working with tool steel strongly preferred
• Experience with Mitsubishi, Makino, Fanuc, or similar Wire EDM equipment is a plus

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate Wire EDM machines
• Load material and fixtures for production runs
• Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Verify dimensions and maintain tight tolerances
• Perform machine offsets and make program adjustments as needed
• Inspect finished components using precision measuring equipment
• Maintain quality standards and production requirements
• Work with tool steel and hardened materials

Benefits

• Starting at $24.00 - $29.00/hr (based on experience)
