About The Position

This is a temporary position for a Wireman in Tazewell County. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform fine manipulation for point-to-point wiring and detailed wire labeling. Responsibilities include reading and analyzing manufacturing blueprints/schematics, reviewing prints and parts for accuracy, laying out and wiring control panels, mounting breakers, and installing CTs. The role also involves fabricating sheet metal using a drill punch and saws, cutting out wraparounds, bolting cells together according to prints, and cleaning control panels for testing. Potential hazard exposures include awkward or strenuous movements, strains from lifting, working around forklifts and material handling equipment, cuts or abrasions from hand tools, and working around electricity.
