About The Position

This is a temporary position for a Wireman in Tazewell County. The role requires attention to detail and the ability to perform fine manipulation for point-to-point wiring and detailed wire labeling. Responsibilities include reading and analyzing manufacturing blueprints/schematics, reviewing prints and parts for accuracy, laying out and wiring control panels, mounting breakers, and installing CTs. The role also involves fabricating sheet metal using a drill punch and saws, cutting out wraparounds, bolting cells together according to prints, and cleaning control panels for testing. Experience with wire harness or LT Technologies is not transferable to this role. Potential hazard exposures include awkward or strenuous movements, strains from lifting, working around forklifts and material handling equipment, cuts or abrasions from hand tools, and working around electricity.

Requirements

Must be detail oriented.
Must be able to perform fine manipulation.
Must be able to perform fine and detailed labeling of wires.
Must be able to read and analyze manufacturing blueprints/schematics.
Must be able to review prints and parts for accuracy against prints and schematics.
Must be able to layout and wire control panels.
Must be able to mount breakers.
Must be able to install CTs.
Must be able to fabricate sheet metal by operating drill punch and saws.
Must be able to cutout wraparounds.
Must be able to bolt cells together according to prints.
Must be able to clean control panels and prepare for test.
