About The Position
This role is responsible for reading and understanding production schedules, following lot changes, and accurately identifying product labels and destinations. The operator must also understand meat age requirements, learn and operate the CAT2 Gun, communicate production changes to management, and support the daily production flow and operational needs. The starting pay is $0.50 above base pay, which is $20.10.
Requirements
- Able to work in cold temperatures (32–40 degrees)
- Stand on concrete floors for extended periods
- Lift up to 40 pounds
- Perform repetitive motions including twisting, turning, bending, and reaching
- Wear required PPE including hair net, hard hat, earmuffs, safety glasses, and boots
- Work with large groups of people as part of a team
- Must be able to read and write English
Nice To Haves
- Previous production or manufacturing experience preferred
