About The Position

A well-established wholesale food, wine, soft drinks, and bottled water distributor that operates cash-and-carry warehouse locations supplying restaurants, bars, caterers, and other food businesses with bulk food, wine, spirits, and restaurant supplies is seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Wine Steward. Gas reimbursement will be provided for all required travel. The Wine Steward will work within the wine & spirits room inside the warehouse, assisting customers, maintaining product displays, and supporting wine sales. This role requires strong wine knowledge and the ability to engage with business customers such as restaurant owners and bar managers.

Requirements

• Prior experience in the wine industry
• Strong knowledge of wine varietals, regions, and pricing
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse retail environment
• Passion for wine and the hospitality industry

Responsibilities

• Work within the wine & spirits section of the store
• Assist customers with wine selections and product recommendations
• Maintain and merchandise wine inventory and displays
• Support wine sales and customer engagement
• Build relationships with repeat and high-volume customers
• Ensure proper organization and presentation of wine products
