About The Position

Stew's Wines is looking for a Full-Time Wine Merchandiser to join their team. They aim to create a fun shopping experience, similar to a trip to the vineyard, with a team of experts discovering and sharing great new wines and spirits. The company is owned by the Stew Leonard’s Family and was awarded Retailer of the Year by Wine Enthusiast. The role involves ensuring proper product check-in, stocking shelves, building displays, and assisting customers with product questions.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years and older
Entry level
Wine, Spirits, and Beer 101
Merchandising 101
Safe Lifting
TiPs Certified
Customer Service Training
Weekends and closing shifts a must

Responsibilities

Stocking shelves
Building exciting displays
Safely operating equipment such as hand trucks, uboats, conveyor, forklifts (where necessary)
Assisting in inventory and store moves
Signing off on PO’s as deliveries arrive, ensuring accuracy
Product placement in stores
Helping to keep the store clean
Knowing the store’s exclusive and focus items
Capability to ring on register and cover other areas of the store
Assisting customers with the location of products in the store and basic wine pairings
Assisting in other duties, as assigned
