About The Position

The Wine Clerk is responsible for providing service that exceeds the expectations of customers. This role involves assuring the proper displaying and selling of all Liquor products to customers, advising customers on the quality of wine, method of handling, and other factors affecting the product. The Wine Clerk is responsible for maintaining and practicing department standards, serving customers with excellent service, and leading by example by modeling correct behavior and adherence to company policies and procedures. They must follow the employee handbook at all times, especially regarding service standards and appearance, and consistently meet and exceed Bristol Farms standards in service, quality, and cleanliness. Exceptional customer service is a key expectation, going above and beyond by demonstrating positive attitudes, respect, and flexibility.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); one to three months related experience and /or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Candidates for this position should be 21 years of age or older.
• Must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to use a 2-wheeled dolly (hand truck) to carry over 100 pounds at a time.
• Must safely use a box cutter with razor blades.
