You will play a crucial role in engineering, operating, and securing a classified Windows-based secure enclave, ensuring highly available, resilient, and compliant systems that support mission-critical workloads.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
  • 10+ years of related experience
  • Administering and maintaining Windows/Active Directory, VMware, and enterprise storage
  • Patching, hardening, STIG implementation, and vulnerability remediation
  • Installing, configuring, monitoring, and maintaining enterprise systems, including backup and recovery
  • Troubleshooting complex system issues and working with cross-functional engineering and cybersecurity teams
  • Contributing to ConMon artifacts, STIG checklists, and assessment documentation
  • Supporting secure enclave, hybrid, or virtualized environments
  • Familiarity with DoD or Intelligence Community systems engineering, cybersecurity, and compliance requirements
  • Current and active Top Secret security clearance
  • Must be DoD 8140 / 8570.01-M compliant (e.g., Security+ or equivalent)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support patching, maintenance, and O&M of enclave servers, storage, VMware, and Windows/Active Directory, ensuring stability and security.
  • Monitor and maintain system health, performance, availability, and capacity across all assigned systems.
  • Collaborate with engineering and cybersecurity teams to design, build, configure, and sustain enclave systems, and provide advanced systems engineering expertise from planning through sustainment.
  • Support Continuous Monitoring (ConMon), including STIG compliance, vulnerability remediation, security application administration, and annual assessment activities.
  • Install, configure, test, and maintain operating systems, applications, management tools, and security solutions, providing robust approaches for security, backup, restoration, redundancy, and continuity.
  • Utilize Windows/Active Directory, VMware, enterprise storage, backup/recovery, and security tools to operate and evolve enclave capabilities in alignment with DoD and IC requirements.
  • Prepare and maintain documentation for systems engineering processes, procedures, configurations, and projects, and help drive process and tooling improvements based on emerging technologies.
