About The Position

Entarian is looking for a Window Systems Administrator. The selected candidate will accomplish the following: Administers, develops, runs tests on, implements, and maintains the Windows operating system and related software. Establishes and implements standards for computer operations for compatibility between hardware and software, according to specifications and parameters. Troubleshoots and resolves software, operating system, and networking problems. Schedules, performs, and monitors system backups and, when necessary, performs data recoveries. Recommends hardware and software upgrades according to growth statistics and disk space forecasts. Schedules, plans, and performs system upgrades, including coordinating the transition from test to production environments. Schedules tasks using software support tools and scripts. Provides technical support for system users. Performs other duties as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or relevant degree; without a Bachelor's degree, an additional 4 yrs experience will be required
  • Experience with Windows System Administration
  • Security + Certification
  • CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENT: IAT Level I – one of the following: A+ CE, CCNA-Security, CND (Computer Network Defense), Network+CE, or SSCP.
  • SECURITY CLEARANCE: Interim Secret
