About The Position
Peraton is currently seeking a Windows System Administrator to provide enterprise systems support for the Army in a fast-paced and demanding environment. The role involves building and configuring Windows-based systems to support highly visible mission areas, proactively administering systems using enterprise toolsets, and effectively troubleshooting complex technical issues. The administrator will ensure system configuration compliance with DoW and Army regulations, document technical troubleshooting efforts, and participate in rotational on-call duties for after-hours support.
Requirements
- 0 years with BS/BA; 4 years no degree
- Active DoD Secret Clearance
- Experience with Server 2019 administration
- Experience with physical (Dell, HP, IBM) and virtual (VMware/Hyper-V) systems
- Knowledge of client/server hardware and software configuration
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot complex technical issues
- Ability to research and develop creative solutions to unique problems
- Knowledge of networking concepts
- Ability to create and/or modify scripts (batch, PowerShell)
- Ability to document technical troubleshooting efforts
- Proficiency with Windows Active Directory services
- Familiarity with McAfee Host Based Security System (HBSS)
- Familiarity with Microsoft Configuration Manager (MCM)
- Familiarity with Microsoft System Center Operations Manager (SCOM)
- Familiarity with Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS)
