Requirements

  • Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 5 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 3 years of experience
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
  • DoD Secret Clearance is needed day one.
  • Proven experience as a System Administrator with experience with RHEL and Windows
  • Strong knowledge of network protocols, firewall management, and network security.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, ESXI).

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain Microsoft SCCM / Endpoint Configuration Manager.
  • Monitor SCCM infrastructure health and troubleshoot issues.
  • Create and manage collections, packages, task sequences, and deployment policies.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end-users and internal teams.
  • Respond to and resolve system-related incidents and service requests.
  • Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve complex issues.
  • Implement and maintain security best practices for system administration.
  • Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments IAW NIST 800-53.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement backup and recovery strategies.
  • Perform regular data backups and ensure data integrity.
  • Test and validate disaster recovery procedures.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of system configurations and procedures.
  • Generate regular reports on system performance, security, and compliance.
