About The Position
Renewal by Andersen, America's premier replacement window and door company, is seeking window and door installers to join our teams of elite craftsmen. We are seeking candidates who are passionate about entering the trade of window installation for our Apprenticeship - no experience needed - as well as candidates at other skill levels from beginning to professional tradesmen. This is a full time, W2 position. Must have valid Wisconsin driver's license and good driving record to be eligible for position We're the leader in the industry and are looking for the best to work with us on our continued growth. Requirements
- MUST have a valid Wisconsin Driver's License and good driving record
- At least six months of home improvement, remodeling, or construction experience preferred
- Previous experience installing windows and/or patio doors a major plus
- General tool knowledge
- General knowledge of safety practices
- Must be able to lift up to 70lbs
- Must be comfortable with heights and able to work on ladders and/or scaffolding
- Must be able to work in any type of weather conditions
Responsibilities
- Onsite installation/removal of windows and doors
- Recognize situations that would impact customer expectations, job costs and/or code performance and provide solutions
- Maintain a thorough knowledge of product, install techniques, and construction basics
- Strive for customer satisfaction by ensuring that customers accept proposed solutions and/or alternate techniques.
- Maintain great relationship with customer before, during and after installation
