About The Position
Homewood & Meeks, a Division of US LBM, is seeking a Window Install and Service professional. This role involves installing all types of window products in various applications, following directions from the field supervisor, and adhering to manufacturer guidelines and warranty requirements. The company emphasizes teamwork, a relaxed atmosphere, community involvement, continuous improvement, and a strong commitment to workplace safety. Employees are expected to go home in the same condition they came to work. This is a hands-on position where associates support each other.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1 year of experience with window installation/service experience required.
- Read and use a measuring tape and other required tools for complete installation.
- Good interpersonal skills, verbal and written skills and the ability to provide and/or follow detailed instructions.
- Available for overtime as needed.

Responsibilities
- Install all types of window products in various applications.
- Take direction from the field supervisor regarding installation of window materials.
- Follow manufacturer directions and warranty requirements on all installed products.
- Track time and materials as required for each installation project.
- Maintain all equipment in good order and report any malfunctions to field supervisor.
- Operate all equipment in a safe and responsible manner.
- Follow all company policies and procedures.
- Provide quality customer service.
- Attend all training to learn new technology of building materials and installation methods as required by location management.
- Cross-train in other areas to expand knowledge and expertise.
- Retain an awareness of the work environment critical to the task at hand to produce error free and damage free results.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Comply with all policies and standards.
- Adhere to Company’s commitment to workplace safety.
