About The Position

Performs basic and routine window and door installation following safe work practices while delivering an outstanding General Contractor and employee experience are the primary deliverables.

Requirements

• HS Degree or equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of basic construction techniques; good knowledge of basic construction and building materials.
• Knowledge of terminology of the construction industry
• Demonstrates responsible attendance and punctuality.
• Initiative; ability to work independently.
• Flexibility; willingness to work variable work schedules
• General understanding and knowledge of OSHA regulations and safe work practices
• Organizational skills for managing work schedules, job priorities and stock levels
• Basic math skills
• Ability to lift up to 100 pounds
• Ability to climb ladders up to 36 feet in height
• Ability to work at heights up to 90 feet using a lift

Responsibilities

• Effectively prepares the jobsite for set up and tear down to assure work can be performed in an efficient and safe manner and the worksite is left clean.
• Collaborates with other installers throughout the installation project to maximize efficiencies, installation techniques and sustaining positive customer relations.
• Assess jobsite for hazards prior to commencement of work. Address hazards as needed.
• Adheres to proper safety techniques and procedures, and to Andersen safety programs and training requirements.
• General warehouse support.
• Provide support for minor service calls as needed.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
